The Octopus medallion is part of the Gyptis and Protis homage, which celebrates the founding myth of the city of Marseille.
Inspired by archaeological remains and ancient coins, this piece of jewelry appears to have traveled through time. It is adorned with either sapphires, rubies, emeralds or diamonds to symbolize the octopus's eyes. A hand carved signature of the studio appears on the back of the pendant.
